7 day mandatory quarantine after flights

So Bangalore has announced all Incoming domestic flight passengers from Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Delhi, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Delhi & Madhya Pradesh will undergo 7 day institutional Quarantine followed by home quarantine.

So basically u are saying Delhi Mumbai Chennai dont fly to Bangalore.

As it is in this circle survey 73% people said they wont fly Unless emergency

With such rules it will be 90%

Why did the Govt come under industry pressure Nd start the flights from these places.

You are nuts if you think people will do a business or family trip to your quarantine of 7 days for 1 day of work. Just say NO flights from these cities. more

It is not a fact that government has allowed flights under pressure from the industry. Most of the people are alert and abiding quarantine and in such a case there is no need to stop the flights. Slowly, the country has to come to normalcy and people are now aware whether to travel or not. People, those are held up and ready to co-operate with the guidelines should start their movement. more
With all this confusion of passing Orders and not considering all related aspects/situations/problems /solutions is a unique trait of our States and the Centre. Look up to Singapore for help, support and guidance! All their Laws are fool-proof ! more
How could you termed resuming flights on selective basis as under industry pressure? Is it necessary to try to find out foul play in everything? On the contrary resuming of flights on selective basis was the need of the hour. After all a nation can't run without any transport facilities for an indefinite period neither it will help in containing the infection of the virus in a country like ours where people dam care compliance of government guidelines and restrictions. Rejuvenation of nation's economy also depends on transport facilities. Under such compulsions it is good that the resumption of flights has been permitted without compromising with the necessary precautions, which should be appreciated. more
Government started off well with fight against virus, but subsequently under pressure and adverse conditions of labour etc is diluting restrictions resulting in spread of virus and daily increasing number of effected. Similar is reason to start air travel taken in hurry without consulting stake holders. more
"So basically u are saying Delhi Mumbai Chennai dont fly to Bangalore" YES MADAM GUPTA. If you are not ready to follow the rules of the destination state, just don't travel. Karnataka is ready and will be ready to lose business. Living in Bengaluru, don't you understand that people from Karnataka who is stuck at various places in India wants to return back home. They will not mind being quarantined not for 7 days but for 14 days to get back to their family. Other people who come here to make money as "fly, bye, and scoot" are not welcome. more
