75 yrs old type 2 diabetic with associated High BP

I am 75 yrs old type 2 diabetic with associated High BP, and am managing my diabetes and BP with Pills. Lately I notice that after my morning walk or some other physical activity, my pulse level rises to 120 or so which may be normal but it takes longer to come back to 70 or so. In fact, the pulse remains irregular for a few minutes, and keeps going up and down ( probably arrithmea). I would like to benefit from the advice and experience if the group members. more

Best of luck more
Thanks doctor. I repeat KFC periodically as advised by doctor and so far no abnormality has been detected. I have to do it again after a month or so. Will go for Stress echo shortly. Hoping for the best. Thanks. more
Hi. Sorry for the delay. Have not been online for a few days. Potassium is a different test. Its usually done individually, or as a part of KFT, not CBC. A stress Echo may definitely contribute. Definitely listen to your doctor cause there are many things that cannot be advised without examining Best of luck more
Thanks doctor. Could you suggest particular name of the test or is it part of CBC? I have been advised stress echo by my doctor. My heart rate at rest is generally stable and normal range. more
I will suggest you test potassium levels more
