yes u can increase the school fee .."in the name of quality education", but there shud be limit to it. it is not like that u can increase it every year by 10-15%...i dont get salary hike by 10-15% and that too every year. apart from school and term fee they charge for every thing and the health check which they usually show in their account books is also done by the parents from the outside doctors.. i ask them how much hike they give to their teachers or other employees? more

I agree with the views of Mr. Padam Law to a certain extent. Quality education with multi activities is no doubt nowadays very expensive. The Government must regulate. Like in the US you have locality and area wise school which are within the range of the common man and on the other hand you also have Highly expensive schools. The Government can impress upon the schools, where land and other facilities like building fund etc..are provided at a low cost to schools to reduce their fees. In Metros, where the land is costly and scarcity and not provided by the Government should be told to reduce their cost or shift outside the metro and the respective Government should nationalize them. If the Allahabad High directions are observed by the Government that the children of officials and those in power should be sent to Government schools, conditions will immediately improve. The Government of the day can on a trail basis, send the child of the top officials of the District and/or administration to a Government school and you will immediately notice the change overnight. The Government of the Day in the Center and State has the political will to do it. more

There is no reason to have increases in school fees which are in-reasonable... however, those parents who want the school fees to be "CAPPED", I have only one question... HOW MANY OF THESE PARENTS ALSO ACCEPT that THEIR SALARIES also be CAPPED? more
