7th visit to EPF office and still going on........
The EPF policy should have been revisited and revised when the Cong govt. introduced privatisation in the 90s'. The Govt offices and Govt owned industries have a different policy and structure compared to Private industries and companies. Today the employees of private firms are suffering because of the Cong govts' short sightedness. They still had 20 yrs and could have changed or made a different policy for private firm employees.Now the BJP Govt has to rework all the mistakes of the past. I visited the Regional PF office in Bangalore atleast 7 times and each time they came up with a different problem and now that I had all they wanted, they say I have to take my form to the place / pf office where the company was registered !!!! Imagine an employee who was working in Bangalore in a branch of a firm which is registered in Delhi and has a Delhi pf number and if the firm is closed, does the employee need to travel to Delhi pf office to submit the form? I'm asking this because that was what I was told at the Regional pf office in Bangalore.

PF and EPF are meant for collecting money from innocent employees and do not return it. Crores of people are suffering at the hands of PF officers who are not sensitive to grievances. Grievance procedure is only on paper and used for creating a data base to beat their chest. It is totally wrong data. Hope BJP govt will wake up and put some efficient and honest officers in to this department. more

Still private employees are being harassed by the employers in claiming of PF Money from the department as well as EPF also harassing the employees. We do not know when the permanent solution will come in India. Why not Central Govt is not taking steps to liberalize the epf norms.I am praying to Prime Minister Modi Ji, please do some favor to private employees. more
