At the rate at which Jats and Patels have been demanding reservation it appears justified for even Brahmins to demand reservation.
As a matter of fact it will be fit and proper to ban reservation altogether as no caste or class suffers today from lack of opportunities for education and employment if it has good merit, abilities and application. more

Reservation on basis of caste to be abolished and reservation on the basis of income to be introduced. Every individual should have a PAN card. Even non taxable income group should file nil return. Income tax return should be filed along with asset and liability statement also. This should be the criterion of income and total assets held by him. Nowadays non taxable income group of citizens can get an income certificate from village officer by bribing. This system should stop. Reservation should be on the basis of the Income Tax Return and Asset and Liability Statement filed by him. more
The only reservation allowed should be economic. All other religion, caste, sect reservation should be banned. There are enough poor people in Brahmins and all other upper castes and enough rich people in SC/ST for this model to be baseless. The constitution did not have indefinite provision of reservations. It was supposed to be for a certain time limit (20 years initially) to allow the lower sects of people to come upto speed. What the constitution did not envision is that this will be completely and wholly used for vote bank politics. This reservation model is baseless and can only pull India downward. But whichever party decided to ban it will be unpopular. SO, unless we, citizens unite on the front of banning reservation, the country is doomed. more
Constitution has provision for reservation and reservation is irrespective of economic status . more
For any Country it is dangerous to apply such Cast wise or Sect Wise or Religion wise Reservations or economic Benefits or to extend to further communities. Particularly in India , where the issue in nomenclature too specified in the Constitution itself with the specific words " Economically Back ward " . Even as otherwise, as also the Judiciary also narrated , there shall be the Economic Slab Scale to identify the real Economically Backward to address the welfare benefits to bring up and maintain to some extent the Socio-economic Status among the Citizen of the different places. This issue if forwarded to Indian Law Council , there will be the requisite justice to the Uniformity and Equality Concept and Objective of our Constitution. more
