Fact is in DELHI NCR only Metro has given relief to passenger traffic. Even than Roads space is facing huge problems of traffic JAMS / Parking of vehicles and slower traffic resulting in wastage of fuel/time/ increase pollution and above more accidental death and body damages and open day loots. In city like GHAZIABAD where maximum migration of poor people/ or people looking for low rental housing is taking place and with only one Metro of 4 km problem is more acute. Further all conceivable modes of transportation of MANUAL RICKSHAW in maximum nos/ Animal driven vehicles for transporting building materials/ Tractors for transporting materials and waste garbage removal / 3 wheelers for shared manual transportation/ 2 WHEELERS maximum for personal use/ Above all huge big cars more popular than small cars/ Buses inside town for school boys and good no of trucks for load transportation and public buses not much in numbers are plying on Roads. Roads space and FLYOVERS ARE AWE FULLY SHORT. NH 24/NH 58 ISSUE IS PENDING FOR MORE THAN A DECADE. GHAZIABAD is famous for CRIMES/CHAINS SNATCHING/ LOOTS/MURDERS/ ACCIDENTS/ WATER LOGGING/ POOR ROADS/ POOR QUALITY WATER/BIJLEE SHORTAGES. GHAZIABAD IS THE BIGGEST CITY OF NCR 1/4 TH POPULATION OF DELHI AND CAN BE CLASSIFIED AS SLUM OF DELHI NCR. STILL MIGRATION IS INCREASING EVERY YEAR AND PEOPLE ARE CHOICE LESS BUT TO LIVE AND SUFFER. GHAZIABD IS MINI INDIA AND A TRUE REFLECTION FAILED URBANISATION WITH INCREASE IN POPULATION FROM 35000 TO 3500000 THAT IS 100 TIMES PLUS. TRAFFIC IS A CANCEROUS ISSUE. more

Residents in Ghaziabad has over 13000 members and facts are so openly known. This contingent is bigger than all the RWAs taken together. Media is full of loot/ garbage disposal/ water logging and supply problems/ road repairs / nalas in bad shape. I do not know what these 80 Parshsds and Nagar NIGAM Adhikari are doing. GDA has also slowed down. Paper is full of sanj bag news of GDA and nothing is visible concretely on the ground. Railway station has hardly any upgradation and approach road to Railway station is almost all broken . No escalator at all. I do not know whether 3.5 km Railway over bridge connecting GT Road Chaudhary moth to Vijay Nagar pending over a decade will ever come up. Ambedkar Road Divider work is going on for 3 Months but in this period whole Road has broken in shambles. This is the only connecting Road joining 3 Main Roads Merrut/ GT/ Hapur Road in the city. On the other hand GDA is busy adding more concrete jungles of more house Towers . more

One more reason is very less challan by traffic police. Ghaziabad traffic police also incapable to control the wrong side driving. Wrong side driving is now style in Ghaziabad more

I am in complete agreement with what was said by Mr. Navin Chand on the traffic jam. While we could maintain punctuality when we travel by Metro, reaching Metro station is time consuming because of the never ending jam. Most of the time ( from morning 8 till 11 in the night it is bumper to bumper driving. I had to change my clutch plates three times in two years because I had to use half clutch travelling in first gear while moving bumper-to-bumper. Poorest of poor roads! Patches, pits and holes, everywhere That is why they collect road tax in advance for several years so that none can protest by not paying road tax ! more

Dear Vikas we have no gates in our small good size road but the whole Road has become free community parking disturbing all our life. We can not keep fighting with people parking their car. More you say they become offensive saying you complain in Nigam to provide parking space. When i say will you pay parking charges to us they keep mum and avoid saying Uncle what to do. In night their sons do hard drinking liqour. They are all rich people doing good trading business and buying large size cars.Ghaziabad has actually Zero space for Big size cars on Roads and all big size car sale should be banned. Can Government do it? more

Have we ever studied the reasons why the condition is so critical in Ghaziabad. The main reason of this pity situation is blockage of parallel roads provided for smooth running of traffic. The so called powerful persons of any area block their road with a gate and enjoy road as their personal property. The whole traffic moove to only the main road causes traffic jam. It is my request to all the citizen of Ghaziabad not to block their roads and help for the smooth running of traffic. more
