Not refunding even a token amount on cancelled Tatkaal ticket and deducting huge amount on cancellation of reserved tickets is s kind of fraud on a genuine passenger. What does the Railway want to convey? more

Problem in no-refund rule is that of genuine passengers particularly senior citizens like me, who may have to cancel their tickets due to pressing reasons. No refund means they would be loosing hard earned money. A better way to prevent misuse of booked tickets by touts could be making filling up of Aadhaar card or PAN card details compulsory while booking an online ticket. This would help Railways in finding out who is booking how many tickets and whether given individual is genuine passenger or not. more
Govt. is loosing the questioning authority on private transports with these changes. They are increasing money in particular seasons, but Railway is looting a common man like any thing in all seasons. Some people was telling that railway charges are lesser than a road transport. But for a regular train traveler is paying money to rail ways moth than road transport charges if we calculate all these indirect charges. more
What else you expect from a Government being run by Business class only. They have always learnt to loot the people, in whatever capacity they may come. more
Prabhu Ji please do not this as this will create dissatisfaction among the passengers on your government. more
They r cheating the public more
