I had seen with my eyes that some of the expired products from stores are brought back and removing the dates from the packet. Can't they print the batch No, Date of production and Date of Expiry etc with packaging printing machine. Presently the dates are embossed with an ink and that ink can be removed with thinner and other material. How to avoid such corrupt practice from the people. more

If Manufacturers get associated with KnowFakes.com, this issue can be put under grave permanently. It give unique identity to each packet and carries its expiry date etc. Even if someone changes it, consumers can easily detect by simply SMS, Mobile App or Website. It's the matter of time, manufacturers should be forced for this. more

Only way to stop this malpractice is that the manufacturer should collect them if not sold withing expiry dates. In some cases expiry dates are only formalities such as in Ayurvedic medicines, they print expiry date but that is not necessary. more
