I am not aware of Online MRP problem. But I draw your kind attention that big Stores like "BIG BAzAR" manage with mfrr. to print higher MRP on items supllied to such stores than their actual MRP. You
can check up- particularly Laundrey products, Luxury
consumer products ,shaving blades, etc. etc. After getting printed higher MRP< they give 5 to 10 % discount, but actually consumer pays more than original MRP. Thus Big Stors are cheating the consumers.
Secondly, Many dealers/retailers in "PATANJALI"
PRODUCTS DO NOT ISSUE ANY CASH MEMO/BILL IRRESPECIVE OF VALUE OF PURCHASE. WHEN WE INSISTS FOR CASH MEMO. THEY WRITE AMT. ON A PIECE OF WASTE PAPER WITHOUT ANY DESCRIPTIOn OF PRODUCTS. Such practice creates generation of black money and traders evade sales tax, vat, cst. & Income Tax. Strict actions are needed for such dealers/retailers as well as clarification from Guru Ramdeo why they encourage such practice, when He

Price increase of all consumer products has become a regular practice in the country like increase of taxes in majority of products in union budget every year. The governments (Union & state) neither evince any interest nor has the courage to exercise their powers to keep the prices under control as they are getting big donations from the manufacturer companies. Therefore, we need to remain prepared to absorb the shock of price rising all around every now and then, particularly, before & after each election. Elections now take place through out the years creating new paths of earnings for the leaders and the manufacturers and traders leaving the common man into dilemma of price rising of essential commodities. more

This is an unfortunate state of affairs. It is only the consumers who have to individually fight, and the corporates know this. We do not have the means to take the corporates to court and have to suffer. more

1. I have observed that weight and MRP differs from big malls to small shops for similar packs of same company Ex washing powder 2. I support patanjali. I too found that Exclusive patanjali shops are not giving bill in seethammadhara area vizag too. more

Now-a-days MRPs r not scientifically fixed as mentioned by Poorani. They leave large margins for retailers while fixing the MRPs. Nothing is truthful in this country because of wide spread deep corruption everywhere in our country. Every year, most of the medicines' MRP is hiked by around 9% annually but Govt. never seem to be interfering despite a separate department (Drugs Contol), estabished. Probably, their existance all the more encourages the manufacturers to hike the MRPs. Sorry to mention here, unless we citizens change to be more responsible, we cannot change the political system to fight corruption, so deep rooted. more
