l was reading that MCG/HUDA is going to fence the land belonging to them to avoid squatters from using it. THE authorities can invite citizens to sow any seeds(we have been collecting as advised by green groups) such as bel , nimbu , jamun, mango and any other and even plant saplings of giloy, aanwla , tulsi , aloe vera.etc... before monsoon .whatever survives......will be so good for the environment.
If in future, that land is needed for construction, the trees can be responsibly replanted at another location. The citizens who have planted anything there could come back regularly and see how their plant is doing..Inclusive management by citizens will encourage good practices for the future in keeping their city healthy and green more

Will the top brass of the MCG / HUDA please step out of their offices and take rounds of the city. Then get the various departments heads to ensure that their staff are on the jobs. Has any one seen the mess on Vikas Marg ... Starting from Bani square to Park Hospital , the centre verge of the road has been dug up at intervals for the past month and a half. There is debris flowing out on both sides of the roads and wires sticking out of the pits, bringing traffic to a crawl. Its a nightmare! After the digging was done a month and half ago, there is no further work being done. Monsoons will soon be here and you can imagine what be the state of this extremely busy arterial road will be. Please do some thing to ensure that the work is completed! more

Hawkers like juice vendors, Chai walas and prantha walas etc. have taken over all the footpaths/ galleries in front of shops/ parking area and even the area along the roads in Sector 17-A, Gurgaon. Besides spreading dirtiness, bad elements are attracted to these hawkers and there have been so many instances of theft/ snatching etc. Request if these can be permanently removed. Thanks Ms. Shruti, Mr. Anil Chauhan & Mr. Goyal, HUDA has already done barbed wire fencing in certain areas but in sector - 56 along the main road the entire stretch fencing has been broken by squatters of pottery & old furniture traders ??? Obviously there is some nexus.... I'm talking about (a) Plantation in our own neighbourhood along the roads in sectors / colonies & new market areas in sectors wherever there are gaps due to old mortality out of earlier planted trees by HUDA ( we must appreciate the good work done) certain trees are damaged due to various reasons, need to be replaced. (b) The barren patches in the Aravalis & the protected zone, where you need rugged species of arid / semi arid kind for natural survival & growth of flora & fauna but in certain areas you can grow or induce growth initially by sowing /planting certain species as mentioned by Mr. Kaushal. This definitely in longer terms will serve as natural habitat for monkeys etc. more
