Bureaucrats are used to passing bucks on each other, so nothing comes out, common people are demoralized, even they have not been bothering if one has urgency and trapped in their inefficiency. Same thing goes with police bosses. What is prescription on that? more

Equally important is : they should feel secure and their confidence level be also given a boost. Only finding fault will yield little fruitful result. more

In every department there must be on line short applications thereby removing unnecessary requirement of information and there must be tome bound and each department must mention status daily. If any department does not perform of don't upload status be penalised for upto 7 days and same should be deducted from the salary of concerned officials and clerks. Otherwise the concerned department must intimate within 24 hours to applicant if any further information is required . Thereafter the concerned officials/clerks must be suspended and enquiry be held. Not more than 3 chances be given for performing their duties. if they don't give satisfactory explanation then they must be dismissed. All government employees must declare their and their family members asset yearly. The government employees must also declare source of income of their family members. Kith and kins of government employees must not be given job in same department. more

Till the system changes bureaucrats will b indispensable---- anyone replacing will become bureaucrats in their place so it is the training which must change and morality must inform every facet of Indian life and practice. All are not same. The number of taking responsibility is few. It has to be increased with proper identification and award for doing something innovative and good. Every thing should be result oriented in a time frame. more

There is a vigilance department, media people, local social activists, NGOs for good governance, RTI, etc. We have to fight for our rights. A small baby who is innocent cries foe milk and then the mother gives milk. We have to fight by joining groups, making groups, understanding the system and finding ways to get our right. more
