A consumer repeatedly being cheated by Tata Sky !

I have been a customer of Tata Sky for the last three years and I have been facing tremendous issues with the connection. Every 3-4 months the dish antenna has an issue so I complain and they send a guy to repair it and they charge me for the visiting charges as well as for the part they seem to change. I have no idea what is the issue and why this keeps happening every 3-4 months and why they are not able to resolve it.

In Feb this year it happened and in April it did not work again and I got fed up and did not complain for almost 15 days but they kept deducting from my recharge amount even if the channels were not working. I finally complained and they sent a guy to check who did not do anything and went away. I again complained and after ten days, they sent another guy who repaired it and they charged me for the visiting charges plus the part they changed (again).

It was working fine and now again it has stopped working. Just 4 months it worked, I want to just disconnect this Tatasky. What is the point in having the connection if the family cannot watch anything and pay from their pockets.

I have raised so many complaints, even spoke to the higher authorities accusing them of cheating me by purposefully not repairing the dish antenna properly so that it gets faulty and they can charge me every 3-4 months. I am totally frustrated and freaking out with this issue. There is no entertainment at home, the tv is silent for the past two weeks.

Can someone suggest what can be done in this situation? more

As a matter of abundant caution why not ask a TV repair man to look at ur piece? Who knows? Incase he too concludes that it is an issue with the service provider, then of course u r in a bind, unless u seriously consider the suggestion already on record. Quite frankly, there is not to choose. We are serviced by Dish TV and we too have a variety of grievances that we have learnt to grin and bear!!! I have a long story of my apple iphone, but that is a different matter altogether.. more  
U may continue with same dish if any specific reason , or other wise change the party with different company , keeping problem for longer period does not make sense more

just change your dish company, there are so many & if one does not respect a customer, it is all the more reason to take your business elsewhere. not before publicizing the current company's misdeeds more  
Dear Sanjay, Greeting It's sad that consumers are facing in India some times harassment too. It's wake up call for India to.change their approach.
