"A" Positive Blood requirement at AIIMS - Delhi for surgery (Not Urgent but in 2-3 days time)

One of my very close friends, whose wife is subject to undergo major surgery at AIIMS and need "A" + blood in next 2-3 days.

HI Zeeshan As per the hospital, donor card is restricted to close relatives only due to reason that it do not lead to encourage selling of blood. We need some 6-8 units of blood in total and it is valid option to check with your colleagues at work and if they are willing then they can donate. i ll check with d hospital where i donated, may b dey can suggest. how much unit of blood is required, i ll discuss with my ofc collegues tomorrow for A+ blood group donors more

Dear Zeeshan, thanks for your willingness to help, however I have checked with AIIMS transfusion center and as per them donor card is restricted to close relatives only. more
