Aadhar for Children
Can we as one of the top citizen groups in the country debate pro and cons of getting aadhar made for children.
On one hand there is a big chance of these aadhars being misused. Also half of the people listed on uidai site are either defunct, wrong address, machine not working or some problem.
On other hand the benefit is all in next gen will have biometric ids.
What should be way forward. Should it be made for class 10 onwards and not for 4-5 year olds.
Currently schools are saying cbse is asking for it. We need it asap. more

Despite Aadhar number, requirement of Photos, ElectionID, Address proof, witnesses, affidavits etc. is not stopped by govt. as Aadhar access is not provided to service departments. Where is the simplification and ease for citizen ? more

Hey folks,,Biggest problem is the bio-metrics change as per season as well as age wise for senior citizens. Tragic that people never thought of that. Bio-metric in many offices is the biggest screw up on attendances whereas I9 have seen the workers suffer because their eyes also suffer now with an infection too so absent.. more

I suggest that in each case, Aadhar card as well as PAN card, first a draft or proof version should be made available online or physical. The person should check and correct any mistake. Only after this process of approving the draft or proof by the person, the final card should be printed and sent to the customer. This may take a little more time but would solve many problems and save much more time. The person (specially from south India), should take care in writing their mane and decide the manner they would right their name in all official documents. more

Linking Aadhar with PAN card is a very good idea. But implementation has lot of hassles. Recently my effort to get it linked online was futile, since Aadhar card contains my name with initials and PAN card has name with initials expanded and placed at the end. I feel it is going to be hell of a job to get it linked particularly for Tamilians who use father name as initial.Somebody should to take up with authorities to get it streamlined. more
