Aadhar linking with UAN being asked by the company to be done by Mar 31, 2018
The firm in which I work is asking all employees to link their Aadhaar to their UAN by Mar 31, 2018 as a matter of compliance. According to the firm this has been mandated by the EPFO. Does this mean that the recent SC ruling that Aadhar linking being deferred indefinitely and not being required to be complied by March 31, 2018 does not apply to EPF accounts, or is the EPFO disregarding the SC ruling? more

To my knowledge S.C. has not given any stay on this matter, but only extended the deadline indefinitely. Here if you want to avail the benefit of availing online services of E.P.F.O, it is advisable to go for linking aadhar with UAN. more

Linking Aadar card is a good point. But the safety of linking has not been properly foreseen and implementd. Result of which is a lot ofunfortunate things happening. All these happen to ordinary people only. Big people would have not done and the Govt. will justify on its own. The Govt. is SUMMARILY RESPONSIBLE AND SHOULD COMPENSATE LOOSERS. more
