And why not administration of India is leased out to USA or Japan or South Korea or any other developed country? It is irony that people living in cities think that privatization is the solution for each and every problem of India.They do not think that there are other so many people who need help in their need. And that help can be made available by the Governments only. A recent example is the loss of Rabi crop this year.Why not any private organization have come forward to help the farmers? Why the media and the so called experts are blaming the state governments and the central governments for not disbursing the compensation to farmers even before the assessment of loss? India is a socialist country and for survival it has to remain socialist. One other point you have raised is the appointment of drivers and conductors from a certain background. I agree with your point but with due respect to your views, I will like to express my view - Majority of the bus drivers and conductors are from the villages of Delhi/Haryana/Western U.P.They do have accent problems but that does not mean that they are rude. I have been traveling in DTC buses and Red Line / Blue Line buses for more than thirty years. I have observed passengers also display unwanted arrogance and rudeness. more

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more

Dear Sir, personally speaking it is too short for me to feel satisfied or dissatisfied about progress of Kejriwal Govt in Delhi or Modi Govt at Centre. I, as a voter, have voted them for 5 years and want to give at least 2 years before forming any opinion. Secondly, what I posted, is the news/ article, I read in Aaj Tak site, for information of members of the circle. more
