About Aadhar card linking to Mobile, Pan and Voter
There are several issues faced by citizens in aadhar card linkage. The UPA Govt started making aadhar cards, later this Govt came and initially were not in favour of aadhar, SO CLOSED DOWN AADHAR APPLICATION CENTRES. Now Govt is all for aadhar but number of centres are very limited even in metro cities like Mumbai. So all are crowded with the authorities chasing away citizens like dogs and speaking rudely as if they are doing the citizens a favour.The centres are very small , and unhygienic .The issues are--
1) why cant the current govt plan well in advance and implement things smoothly? They should have reopened the closed centres before announcing aadhar fresh applications and linkage
2)linking aadhar to mobile--senior citizens r facing issues here as their finger prints do not match the aadhar one they made earlier. Not only senior citizens , even people below 60 are having issues as finger prints DO NOT MATCH!!! How is this possible, when the person is the same? This means that some mistake was made by authorities taking the finger prints when aadhar was made--maybe they did not wipe the machine. So this is inefficiency from their end--what can citizens do for this? But for no fault of theirs citizens are being harassed now as they stand in long queues only to be told that finger prints DO NOT MATCH!! what is the solution to us? Please resolve this issue
3) Aadhar card names are not matching Pan card as when we made our aadhar cards in 2011/2012 the authorities shortened our middle name and used initial despite us giving full name. Now if Pan card has full name, it is not matching aadhar--why is the citizen being harassed for the change of rules and change of Govts?
4 Even in case of residential address the address in aadhar made earlier does not match with what is given in other IDs as the aadhar database has different PIN CODE names--for example 600043 in passport is taken as Govandi, while is aadhar it shows shivaji nagar. Please take a note
we request Govt to resolve the above issues and make life easier for citizens

I also got same problem they asked to put full name un muddle also though I have same name in passport still they say it will not happen. Even in passport office I asked if Mt middle name will be accepted in short? They said yes there are no rules we have to add full middle name so it worked but since april 2024 my pan card is not linked even after paying online fees of 1000 and no receipt or message.l from income tax office/department Today I went to nearby office call kshetriya Kendra yerwada and she says I have to change whole name in aadhar card, pan card, passport as middle name should be full...these people have no idea that the database or progarme which they use to fill our details have limited characters to enter our name. Middle name and surname..she just rejected by saying it will not work and aadhar card has dot in-between names and there is no dot in.pan card. Weird and foolish excuse...recently I got my pan card updated with address and name change and now she just rejected to link it as middle name should be full but why didnt they reject when i updated with name and address change....terrible employees... more

I don't think it is mandatory to link Aadhard Card to your mobile number. Those supporting this idea, please share the Government Notification in this regard on this Circle. more

Most of people got their Aadhar Cards prepared during last two years or more and the Aadhar card is now being prepared by most of the Choice Centres, which are available in every nooks & corners of a city and I personally do not consider it as a national issue any more. more

Ihad immense problem in getting DOB updated in Aaadhar card and to get it linked with Pan card for income tax return. The matter needs a proper planning and a holistic approach more

Let the banks take ownership of linking aadhaar to PAN. They have aadhaar and PAN of their customers. There is no need for a separate linking request and it is not feasible for people to go around and take help for linking.
