It is so nice to see how fast the Govt has moved on the issue of child rape.
I had signed the petition http://bit.ly/standagainstchildrape one month back and serious hats off to Ms Ghurka and so many members who took charge of this cause and got so many signatures.
Mrs Gandhi and PM should also get the due credit for getting this passed and making it a law. more

Factually it is NOT the LAW in question BUT IMPLEMENTATION of the same. Pl. observe the conviction rate and the period which require for the same. This is only for the cases/matters which are reported. Unreported matters are in many fold. Apart from the IMPLEMENTATION, it is our social system as well as the Procedural Lacuna's, play vital roll - required to be improved.
