Access on LocalCircles ask

Happy to share that the Govt has implemented LocalCircles ask of implementing access control at 60 railway stations in the country where non travellers will not be simply able to hang out at the station platforms.

Only thing they must do is permit a companion with the travellers who have come to drop senior citizens or kids.

This can be done by making no access to platform till a bar code or qr code is scanned.

So if i am there to pick my mother i need to request her to send me her qr code and only then i can go to the station. That way every person on platform is accounted for.

LC Manager please escalate this ask to Railways minister. Others also please comment

As long as several entry point exists, rules related to the conceot of crowding does not have any meaning. As suggested by Sarita, either to drop or to receive srnior citicens, disabled and/or pragnent and lactating mothers need assistance, that need to be considered.
dear sarita madam do you have the paper news
Thanks Sarita for sharing😊🪷🐿🦚 Its Really Appreciable Move by IR, to minimise Crowd on Platforms. My Concern is - How about Senior Citizens, Normal People who do not know to send Bar or QR Code to their Family or to the Person receiving them. If the Passenger's Mobile Phone Battery got discharged or handset got spoiled or handset stolen, etc. There should be other options too. I want IR, Local Muncipal Corporation & Traffic Police make Very Strict Regulation to have Clear Appproach Roads to Railway Stations & Hospitals, without any illegal parking on the Roads, enroached Shops/Hotels, without roadside vendors, etc.
Timing to reach on plateform in how much advance? As happens at airports. Weight limit of luggage and suitcase size . For excess luggage, is their prompt luggage booking to carry with. Coolies are available there to carry luggage?
Dear Sarita, Thank you for sharing this wonderful news! It is great to hear that the government has implemented access control at 60 railway stations. This is a significant step towards improving the overall experience for travellers, and I commend LocalCircles for advocating for this initiative. The suggestion to permit companions for senior citizens or children is also a very thoughtful consideration. I appreciate you keeping me updated on these developments.
