I met with a shocking incident.I happen to know MD of a medium scale industry. I asked him about order boo.He told me that he is looking at railways for order. I hopped that there is no corruption. To my shock he said that the inspector who is to pass the consignment ' a young IRS staff' wanted Rs.200/ per shaft just to agree to come for inspection. He felt sorry for the young fellow. You can realize the safety of our rolling stock. more
ALL ARE IN PSEUDO SWACHA BHARATH. NOTHING IS CHANGED NOW. PREVIOUSLY, BUREACRATS USED TO GET BRIBE AND PASS IT ON ABOVE. NOW BUREACRATS GETS APPOINTMENT TO TOP POST BY PAYING 10 TO 20 CRORES OF BRIBE more
This is an important issue and should discussed highlighting the stated comment in departmental committee . The concerned person deserves immediate suspension with an order to appear before an inquiry committee. On Tue, Sep 12, 2017 at 9:23 AM, Sampath Setlur < support@localcirclesmail.com> wrote: > more
CBI has an Anti Corruption unit in every city. Even if your is not willing to make a complaint and have him caught you can tip them off and if he is taking from everybody he will have disproportionate wealth for which need not catch red handed. more
Corruption is an integral part of Bharatiya (Indian) culture. It has been there since ancient times. If you read Pauranik Stories then you could realize that they refer to corruption in one form or the other. For that we have to remember that corruption is not financial alone. We often concentrate on financial matters and report corruption involved there. But doing favour to some one on the basis of family relationship, friendship, caste, creed, region, political affiliation, and administrative power, etc. have all to be recognized as some form of corruption. Visit a temple and see how you have to pay to the Panda (Priest) to earn Punya (पुण्य). In Varanasi, one is obliged to offer cow-milk to Baba Vishvanath which 70-80% water. No milkman, I think, sells pure milk to its customers. The market can offer duplicate of any gadget. Governments are reluctant to improve the condition of their schools/hospitals so that their "men" could earn good profit by selling education/health services. Govt employees - I hesitate to call them servants - shamelessly accept salaries without doing commensurate work in return. All these are variants of corruption which is deeply rooted in our mental make-up. Corruption is so rampant in our society that those who are supposed to monitor its occurrence themselves indulge in corruption. Who then can offer a solution? We have been living with that and will continue in future also ! more
