Action Request - Sanitation By-Laws for ULBs
Attached are proposed sanitation bylaws from Noida that make littering, garbage burning and defacement of public property a penal offence.
We request every member of this circle to take a print of the same/save, visit your municipal commissioner and request them to adopt similar practices in your area/city.
In parallel, we are working with other stakeholders to evaluate how a Government of India act can be formulated on the same lines.

As far as sanitation issues are concerned let our central govt make a uniform guidelines and be issued to all state govt for compliance. for example 1. burning of garbages banned 2. all state govts should arrange safe disposal of garbages more scientifically and it should not pollute the nearer residential area. 3. classification of disposal methods should be well defined. 3. All Tourist places and at least one km surrounding WHERE Other state and FOREINERS visit , should be kept clean. Lorry services /Heavy Transport Vehicles should be banned to reduce pollution in the area near Tourist spots. more
