Super glad to see that CBSE has started to act on the school fee issue. yesterday affiliation of 3 private schools in UP has been cancelled. Also now schools will have to give discount on books and uniforms sold on school premises. This is getting somewhere.... more

Dear Parents our fight with school does not end here, I recently came to know that school is conducting aptitude test for children appeared in 10th exams to decide he/her should be given PCM or Commerce. This is irrespective of the grade he has secured in his exams. I don't know what is the systems of CBCE to make selection criteria for selecting stream on marks secured in Exams or Aptitude test. This year I got two school parents they shared their experience with DPS Noida and Khaitan Public School Noida. Their ward secured A1 and A2 in Science and Math but both the school clearly conveyed to parents that they cannot give PCM to their ward according to their aptitude test marks. Its really news for me. Are we parents spending and nurturing our child every day to get good marks and spending our time and money for around 12 years and end of the day he cannot get what he wants. Another surprising things these wards are easily getting admission if they switch over to another school. I personally feel there is something drastically wrong in the system somewhere. I am just sharing this with you all to raise our voice in this regard too. more
