Additional Charges for Online LPG Cylinder Payment
State Bank is charging additional charges of Rs 5.90 for LPG Cylinder Refill online payment. Government has to instruct the Bank not do so, to encourage the online payment, instead of COD. more
Though government encourages digital payment, but when it comes to actual situation, they have not properly instructed NOT to levy charges on online transactions. I pay for gas refill through online, though it gives Rs.5/- as discount or incentive but charges certain percentage of the total cost of the refill. This defeats the very purpose. Similarly, while paying electric bill through MSEB site, upto a limit of Rs.500/-, there is no levy but thereafter it charges @0.90%. If the levy is for commercial establishments, it is understandable but individual consumers, it should be made free to encourage digital payments. more
I have tried online payment of property taxes this year. Nellore municipal corporation does it through SBI. Strangest thing that I have seen. I expected it to be the opposite. more
For online booking LPG refills, when we paid through credit card, Bharat gas charges Rs 717.50 + Rs 5.74 = 723.24 the amount deducted from our card. On receipt of the refill subsidy due (as shown on the delivery receipt) Rs 217.79 which will be received in my designated account. The charges of Rs 5.74 are charged by Bharat Gas for online booking of refill. This is against the policy of the Government for encouraging e-payments. We request that Government organisations should not charge such additional charges..... more
