Improving Community Parks and Gardens - Solutions

1. The municipality should hire gardeners and assign specific areas to them. All the parks and gardens in the assigned areas should be maintained by them
2. RWAs should be instructed to make sure that they are doing local monitoring and no garbage heaps are lying around in colony/neighborhood parks
3. RWAs should be empowered to fine people throwing garbage in parks and gardens in their area
4. Lights should be installed in all parks and gardens
5. A structured, ward wise plan should be made to construct walking paths inside parks
6. Drainage system of the parks should be revived so that they don’t get flooded during rains

During summer we have a profusion of fruits & vegetable - and every household generate a fair amount of waste comprising of seeds from fruits. Even if we dry them them and sprinkle them on our way in green areas, some it may survive and grow into full plants more
Men employed in keeping the city clean are only the person to responsible for the present state of cleaning. Best example I could see the procedures followed to ensure Singapore clean by that administration. Suggestions were made to Noida Authority to copy some of the feasible practices of Singapore and a team did visit Singapore. But we can see no improvement. So basic reason for no improvement is corruption. So target to be selected is end corrupt practices in an organisation. Over the period worker and the public has forgotten the definition of corruption. Most glaring example is non involvement of politicians in removing the corruption more
Thses are good suggestions from Lc. We should concentrate on the cleanliness and keep plantation of trees in the garden. The parks and gardens are the mirror of the society. We can improve the environment through the parks and gardens. Government has full support and encouragement to facilitate the rides and swings for the children. more
not just plantation, but focus on the type of plants that are being planted. We should put emphasis on indigenous species as they adapt well and benefits the environment more
Every household should be issued a govt coupon for collecting five plants from MC D nursery every six months to be maintained at their house . It will make the area green. MCD need to connect regular water supply to feed the parks . Power connection should be given in every park for maintaining water pump. more
As stated in the inputs cause their are several issues for cleaning of parks government gardeners says that private Gardner is attending the park hence they have no need to look after the park but after 30 days did not says that salary will be not taken by that gardeners they take their monthly salary on time dustbins in side the parks are full of garbage government gardeners says to empty that dustbins is not comes under their duty it is the duty of private gardener or of those authorities who placed the dustbins in the garden as our Prime Minister Narender Damoder Dass Modi jee begain a large compain to clean up India several poster signage boards hoardings are hang at various places but this small issue is not sought out by government many times i write to them with photographs it looks to wound up(pack up) India not only this did not do the proper treatment of that trees who are full of termite when ask them what are the reasons politely ask by them they have shortage of funds to take insecticides for the treatment of trees also refuse to trimming of trees in the name of plants they dont have the plants to fill them in the garden R.W.A. take ppp funds but use them for their own purpose not for the garden also not take keen interest to clean the gardens such all maters are of lajpat nagar- D block matters if any one can take action i will be very thankful to him. more
