Addressing Infiltration at LOC - Addl Inputs
Below are the key recommendations that you had made to a post from a circle member on How infiltration at LOC can be improved. While this is not directly a policing subject, we have compiled it since it was posted in the circle and relates to safety of citizens. You may please share any additional inputs that you have.

Addressing Infiltration at LOC - Collective Citizen Inputs
1. Vigilance at the border should be improved
2. Fencing should be installed on the entire LoC
3. These fences should be electrified to prevent infiltration
4. These fences could also be guarded by laser rays so that an alarm is raised whenever an infiltration bid is attempted
5. Continuous drone monitoring should be done of the LoC
6. Intelligence assets should be developed in villages close to the LoC, so that presence of terrorists could be ascertained
7. CCTV cameras should be put along the rivers and nullahs flowing at the border
8. Thermal imaging scanners could also be useful tools to prevent infiltration at nights
9. Soldiers patrolling the border should be equipped with night vision cameras. more

Robotic system that they are able to detect any movement .electronic sensor and thermal image are also helpful. more

If INDIA takes steps to implement all the safeguards mentioned in the Input above, the infiltration would be reduced drastically. The affected country, namely India, can raise the demand in the U.N.O to fund the cost of above said safety measures. Further atleast one /Two Kilometers from LOC should be declared as NO MAN'S LAND and any person who enters in this NO MAN'S LAND should be shot at by our Army and BSF. more

It is the weakest link - 30 rupees, and the terrorists were allowed in to Pathankot air base, by the army security. There is a need for extreme training drills - the present safety / security / military system is lackadaisical. more
