Addressing vaccine administration irregularities with drive expansion

This is very concerning and what it proposes makes total total sense. Can this atleast begin in Maharashtra. Why are people of Maharashtra not demand that their government does this and gets Central Govt to pass an emergency order.

Its ridiculous vaccines are getting wasted and Covid is surging. more

I agree with you Aditi, But just the vaccine is not enough. Even the common man needs to be aware and careful for their owns elves if not for for others. more
Vaccination is only one part of attack on Covid 19. Of Course, the governments can improve the delivery of vaccination. What about the duties of the citizen's role in controlling Covid spread, even after knowing fully well as to how the virus spreads? Protocols are not being followed not only by many citizens but also those who are the so called VIPs. Why no control in political meetings in the election bound states which includes central ministers and party heads? more
Vaccination should be opened for all immediately all over India, not just Maharashtra. Covid is surging - 46,000 + cases in the last 24 hrs & over 66 days, just 3.4 % of the population has been vaccinated! There is at least 50 %hesitancy among those eligible so far so slots & vaccine doses are going wasted. Why deprive people who are eager but below 60? Rapid vaccination - over 1 crore a day - is the only hope since people have become careless about observing precautions ; covid fatigue seems to have set in. more
Opened for all and in the right way. Every one who takes the vaccine should be given a certificate (manual or automated), the details available in the vaccinated database, the vaccine and the fees accounted for. No shotcuts. more
Yes, 2 things-unsystematic arrangements for administering the vaccine is prevalent even in big corporate hospital. My wife and I went to this famous hospital in Bengalur after booking our slot. On reaching the place, we found chaos prevailing. 3 categories of people-those registered on Cowin site and slot allotted, those just registered and lastly the unregistered were jostling for entry in to the vaccination hall. Volunteers should be employed both at private and government centres to organise things. Volunteers may be employed to enlist senior citizens to take the jab thereby ensuring no wastage Why not rope in corporates to sponsor free ride to centres for the poor people. more
Entire Central ministry since last 6 months, camped in West Bengal along with crores of paramilitary forces and wasting lakhs of crore of rupees just to capture the Bengal. Totally neglecting to prevent corona pandemic. We must highlight on most war footing way. more
