Admission to colleges in Delhi
If one resides in Gurgaon, do our children qualify for admission to DU colleges or does one have to have a Delhi residential address? more

Absolutely qualifies.. There's no such thing exist. As DU is a central University and there's no quota even for Delhi students. Half of the students are studying there are from various parts of India. Earlier there was a rule in which few seats use to be reserved to local students only if they prove that they are residents of Delhi by either showing their domicile certificate. and the other ways are: a) In you have studied for at least five years in an institution within the state. b) If your parents are born in the state, c) If they are officers of the central cadre d) Employees of the state government e) They were working in a PSU in the state for five or more years. But now this rule doesn't applicable anymore. Only thing is travelling. more

Dear Sir, For Delhi University admission, Delhi address not required. Only problem is if you Delhi NCR student, hostel facilities are not allowed, one has to travel from Gurgaon or take some guest house in Delhi Regards, A.K.Kar more
