Is the facility given to the benefit of travel agents. travel agents are booking important berths well in advance and afterwords selling to the passengers with higher rate. Railway is getting more income due to berth cancellation processes. we cannot forecast our journey before four months or three months. High power committee should think once again on this. more

Rly ministry must publish to nation, data on how much illegitimate money it makes thru cancellations as those seats were either not allotted at all (wl/rc) or it went to someone already in queue as rc holder. 120day window is opened just to increase this loot revenue while trying to look modest n friendly but actually fool around. more

120days adv reservation is brought only for agents to make money n govt thru rly loot money from almost entire nation as 70-80% indians use railway for commuting. Rly under this govt is taking worst decision compared to even corrupt prev govt. In this age of quick decision making, most population is hard pressed on planning n committing even 1-2 months in advance is an achievement. 30day adv booking is ideal but if govt want to stretch it should not go beyond 60days as max. Modiji, must bring new face to handle rly in case sureshbhai has become insensitive to common man needs. more

One Or Two AC chair car coach can be attached to all important trains for current reservation only. A conductor has to be appointed and issue ticket on the spot with premium charges. Those passengers are to be considered first for any birth vacancies other coaches. Through intercom the train conductor has to exchange communication and provide birth allotment with nominal fare. The vacant seats display to be visible to passenger. Nowadays the train conductors are communicating the vacant seat. They are not transparent. IN OLDEN DAYS THE CONDUCTORS are honest and USED TO WRITE OVER CHALK PIECE ON THE COACH DOOR. more
