The food for diabetics and for children must be made available for travelling passengers, this is a basic and essential need for travelers to get 24 hours facility. No such initiation took place from any of our railway ministers. People are getting low quality street foods in to compartments, and no significant measures took place in driving a better facility in reach. Every train can have a pantry car along with cargo service facility shared in one compartment. these cargo services can be extended for medicines, milk products, selected fruits and courier services. A/C Coach with advanced pantry and cargo storage. in one coach.

Quality of food prepared in pantry is not good. IR should engage private players in every city to arrange good food 3 times daily against specific orders at competitive rates. more

I think this is a great idea. They should give contract to a private company on trial bases. So we can cut down on those government employees standing around by the machines doing nothing. more

Even beverages (Tea/Coffee) without sugar are difficult to get. They are not served even after repeated requests. Tea/Coffee in tray/flask (which was the norm for service to 1st Class/AC 1st Class passengers) seems to have been dispensed with. more
