Adverting to Mr.C.S.N.Sarma's comments about females getting share of property from Father's side and husband's side, it may be noted that from the Parents' side a female with brothers and sisters gets only proportionate share and similarly from husband's side she has to share equally with each of her children. Thus while a female gets property from both Parents' side and Husband's side, she does not get any excess share. Hence, in my opinion, a male dos not suffer any injustice or unfairness. more

In my opinion , working out examples from two families referring A male and B Female ; the volume of properties definitely differ with A male and , the B a Widow or the one having no children . If this worked out with the implication of the land reforms holdings will give another situation of the volume of properties held. more
