Hello, I have been trying to get a business model right for our startup. How to calculate revenue from advertisement. Assuming I have 1M users, 10% actively using any given day and engaging for 2 min daily. I have been struggling to get the ad revenue number right. more

Dear Manjunath The Ad revenue depends on several aspects. Like the industry sector you are looking for, the target audience, the popularity of your site, etc. Further the revenue is based on any one of three aspects i.e. CPM, CPC and CPA. Each client adopts either of these basis to give the ad revenue. Which again depends on Industry Sector. Manjunath, you should look at ARPU. Check this acronym online and you will get your answer, at least partially. It stands for Average Revenue Per User. For more details reach out to a Digital Marketing person. more

Do reverse engineering ask the digital agency for a quote to advertise and use the same deduce your logic to work out the revenue... more
