After- effects of Chikungunya

Dear Circle Members,
My wife suffered from Chikungunya about one and half months back. The fever persisted only for 2-3 days but she is suffering from body pains continuously since then. She has severe joint pains especially in shoulders and knees, maximum in the early morning reducing with the passing of the day. Has taken pain killers which reduces pain temporarily only. Can somebody suggest some treatment in Ayurveda, homeopathy or Naturopathy or suggest a good Doctor except in Allopathy. Thanks - S K Goel more

I was having the same problem which is now reducing day by day. I have been suggested one of my family doctor to take half tablet of "TRD contin" which is a patent allopathy medicine having no side effect at all.. Suggest you try in for 2-3 days to experience the relief . Please consult any of Homeopath you may know. I have known that OCIMUM 200 is a homeopathy medicine for Chikangunya and its after effect. This medicine is said to be containing extracts of Neem, Peepal (used in Garam Masala), Papaya leaves and Tulsi. May wife of Mr. S K Goel and others get relief with the medicine or by use of the extracts of these four items. With best wishes. more

I am also suffering from leg pain and swelling, it has reduced by doing hot water sikai with ALUM(phitkari) put in to it. Take hot water( not very hot) in a bucket mix 5 table spoon of ALUM powder and soak you leg in to it for 10 to 15 min.This helps more
