Against Reservation

Right reservation was considering for 10 years fixed for upliftment of communities but our politicians are doing business with this brand. Obviously government take some action against this. more  

Dear sir, The intention of our constitution makers was to bring parity in the society by providing educational and financial support by reservation system to the poorer population based on cast system for a limited period. But after 60 years of independence the results has not yielded the required effect. People have become addicted to this system and many people are misusing it and getting financial benefit. Therefore to name a few anamolies -reservation in undergraduate level of education is justified, along with fee reimbursement, books, subsistence allowance for food and clothing during the course.beyond that to reserve in post graduate and doctorate levels,post doctoral levels ,it breeds poor quality products of intelectuals .when tested in jobs they ate found to be wanting . Their skill, performance is not satisfactory. Level playing field for all citizens after under graduation should be given irrespective of cast. Hence reservation system is not justified after under graduation. Professions like medicine , engineering are already victims of this faulty reservation system. They must be stopped . Personally I have seen that people with reservation with all benefits of finance , books hostel fees are misusing,(80%)not attending colleges s ,failing repeatedly, smoking , drinking driving vehicles where as the non reservation students do far better.misuse of national resources must be stopped. Reservation in jobs is another hazard inherited by our governments due to cheap vote bank politics.when competitive exam is held it means that it is testing the merit neede d for that job, if you jump the queue by reservation it breeds new generation of in competent , lazy individuals.Even all India services, UPSC is not spared by this reservation disease. Merit and merit alOne should prevail for appointments in services. Handicapped individuals, army ,ncc sports reservations may be an exception to this statement . Reservation by gender like females is acceptable to some extent. Similarly reservation in lok sabha, assembly panchayat is not needed.it is divisive ,mischievous Reservation by religion is totally Against constitution. Reservation by cast , sex , religion in public elected bodies is the new breeding ground for divisive forces in our country. India to grow in the next millennium must stop this system since we are stabilized after 60 years of reservation system .let us concentrate on producing quality educated skilled work force . more

Reservation has made a huge percentage of population parasites on the society for everything, from cradle to grave. As Palkhiwala said, by bringing OBC reservation, VP Singh made certain that this country will not live in peace for next thousand years. Even Mohan Bhagwat of RSS has loudly supported reservation "even if it takes another hundred years". There is no incentive for the reservationists to improve their skills, knowledge base and work ethics, as they are assured of salary, periodic increments, promotion etc even without doing any work and by whiling away their time. The cartoon is quite right. With the governments increasing the bar for determining the "creamy layer", more and more well to do families continue to enjoy benefit of reservation. "Merit" has indeed become an abhorred word in government services. Frequently, we hear demand for extending reservation to private sector. This is the surest way to ruin of India's economy. more
