Want to know why it is not mandatory to disclose the amount of commission paid to agents _ both on initial and subsequent premiums. I believe that they are unreasonably high more

What if LIC Agent ask ur whole family FORM16...? It is their income. why to create debate..... more
As per IRDA instruction, It is required to be disclosed the Commission if client ask for it more
Yes. There is no harm in mentioning the commission rate payable for each of the insurance product in life and general categories that must be put on the IRDA website. And, the product buyer should be free to negotiate the same with the insurance agent. more
It is the competition among the agents. Otherwise 30% commission is too high without any addition of value to the original products. Commission or trade margin is negotiable. more
commission cannaot be negotiated more
In my opinion there should be a published document by company on commission of agent for each insurance product. more
not required. it is jusk like salary. do you announce your salary on any network? domt you keep it a secret? more
How can we decide High or Low? Because Sale of Insurance Policy is not easy task. basically we people insures Four Wheeler Vehical / our Business Stock on the basis of Hook & Crook Policy not as safety. When Bankers demand Insurance / when RTO check or accident etc we insures the same. While calculating Human mentality it seems not so high. We know Policy holder get rebate from Agent. This is also a business of giving rebate. more
