Agreement which is written on Single rule is valid
Agreement which is written on Single rule is valid in Court.One of friend signed on single rule paper ,for formality sake to compromise an issue infront of elders of Village. But elders of other party managed the friend's side elders and both combine blaming and black mailing him by manipulating the letter .How can my friend get out of it.Please anybody suggest me. more

Mr. M S APPALA REDDY MADDI (Engineer): Why is your friend afraid of going to the court? Why is he so meek that he signed the agreement as a "formality" due pressure of elders? Why do you think elders pressurised him? Answer to all these would lie on nature of the issue and whether agreement is fair and for lawful cause. Unless you provide info on these basic issues, no purpose would be served by seeking advice on this forum. more

My friend did not have agreement, the elders kept with them. So he cannot remember what is there in it. It is a Single rule paper. But always innocence is punished by criminal. more

When an agreement is signed for safety both sides keep a copy for them. Hence if the elders of both sides manipulated the agreement it can be done only in their copy. Your copy will have the original version. Hence it can help you. more

Prima facie an agreement can not be invalid only due to the reason given in ur reference.An oral agreement is also valid in law and such oral agreement maymay not be put in writing just for memory more
