Appreciate Dheeraj's refreshing our memory. Certainly no point in re-inventing the wheel, since the white paper on these matters is already available. So let Health Deptt get proactive and read that white paper and give us their plan of action within the next few days. more
Thanx Rakesh Jain ji for finalizing such a LIST. For few late joiners , Local circles had already discussed Health affairs in government hospitals soon after Modi Government came into power and whitepaper submitted after extensive discussion on the issue which included all kinds of Health Facilities to PM Modi. The same whitepaper can be accessed on Local circles , thread started by Rajendra Pratap Gupta. To AAP founder pay my respects to His Excellence , His Highness Arvind Kejriwal for launching e- Ration Card. Earlier i thought Delhi Government was Launching it. We foot workers of IAC since January 2011 Salute our King for this great step to .... more
Good idea Mr.Jain, how about each such unit having to display a grievance redressal mechanism prominently on their premises right up to relevant state or central ministry level with phone nos., address, & email IDs? more
The Healthcare in Delhi has many owners and stake holders 1. AIIMS an autonomous body like IIT 2. Cetral Govt Hospitals - Safdarjung, Ram Namohar etc 3. Delhi Administration - Irwin, GTB etc 4. MCD Hospitals/Dispensaries - Bara hindu ram etc 5. CGHS Dispensaries - under central Govt 6. ESI Hospitals under EPFO or so 7. Apollo Hospital - jt undertaking of Apollo & delhi Admin 8. Private Corporate Hospitals- Fortis, MAX etc 9. Charitable Hospitals like Agarsen, sunder lal jain etc 10 Private owned Nursing Homes. 11. Day Care clinics owned by private Doctors 12. Specialty Hospitals under Central Govt, Corporate and Delhi Administration Let Delhi Health department segregate the list and issue one for Public Info. more
This initiative by Delhi Govt Health Deptt seems misplaced, they better concentrate on hospitals under their control rather than meddling in AIIMS. As an aside, if someone were really serious about objectively looking at issues in AIIMS, then instead of asking views from general public, it would be much better to get a feedback form filled up from the thousands who get treated there every month. more
