I visited Delhi AIIMS. The place is so badly crowded that they are perhaps treating some but are surely making many more infected. more
Excellent service, No problems in using for last 2 years. more
NO DOUBT, when it comes to giving treatment to patients! Yet, there are all sorts of ills also that need to be attended. It is a good suggestion if at intervals the Director and Medical Superintendents make a round of the Departments and Services, particularly toilets and drinking water supply that will add to efficiency. more
Your time to get OPD card is cut with h a separate shorter Que. I read news that now you don't have even to get into Que after online apt and can go straight to fixed doctor more
AIIMS-D is suffering from the disease of "diseased population" the infection of which is largely imported from States like Bihar, Eastern UP, Chhattisgarh, and others. The online appointment system is working, but fails when getting the OPD registered for the day of appointment. The queues are so large that it frustrates patients who in turn resort to queue breaking. The system is not bad. My suggestion to the AIIMS-D management and the Union Ministry of Health is that they must advise the States not to refer the cases to AIIMS-D unless the patient has been seen and so advised by the nearest now established All India Institutes of Medical Sciences in the States outside Delhi. It needs to be well advertised in the regions where AIIMS have since started working. The political leadership must not send recommendations to AIIMS-D for attending to their patients for which the GoI must give clear directive. more
It cud be working but not as efficiently as all cud have appointment easily. more
