Air India, another Govt. run inefficient organisation!

Air India, existing since Independence is a burden on the Govt. Most inefficient airline compared to many other airlines.
Civil Aviation Ministry's role should be only policy making & not to run an airline.
Sell this airline & its assets & leave it to a private operator who may efficiently operate & bring glory to the Air India name! more  

All PSUs including Air India, Banks, Oil Cos need to shed the flab on TOP. They are all Top-heavy organisations. Too many General Managers without the ESSENTIAL WORKERS/PERFORMERS on ground. PSUs should be directly under the PMO and without any ministerial interference. The CEOs should be directly answerable to the PM Shri Narendra Modi, who should REVIEW their performances on a Quarterly basis, if NOT Monthly. All inefficient CEOs/CMDs should be given marching orders if they are unable to show results for their respective organisations within a 100 day time frame. There is TOTAL non-performance on the part of the Top Management. It is that last man at the counter who is facing all the music. The fact today is that these CEOs and CMDs are having a ball at the cost of Tax Payers money, doing sweet nothing for the Organisations. They all resort to Statistical Jugglery and make a fool out of every body. The country needs Statisticians like Dr K.C. Chakravarty, the out going RBI Dy. Governor to whip these CEOs/CMDs, who resort to such jugglery and fraud. more  
When people of India say that Air India is a loss making company I say something very very wrong with our education system that's why people utter like this.The whole country should remember INDIAN AIRLINES LIMITED(Domestic Airlines)which was nerve of India crisscrossing every state every half an hour from kashmir to kanya kumari and bhuj to chabua in ASSAM or Imphal in Manipur in its monopoly day .It was second line of defense of INDIA ,Troops movement,natural calamity say anything from evacuation of stranded Indians in war zone INDIAN AIRLINE was always in the fore front.Then came the LICENSE RAAJ and INDIAN AIRLINES WAS THE HOLY GOAT FOR SACRIFICE ON THE ALTER .LICENCE BECHO AUR PAISA CAMAO was the order of the day. AIR INDIA LIMITED the MAHARAJA a totally separate AIRLINES of GOVT of INDIA also flew like INDIAN AIRLINES around the world(INTERNATIONAL ) but it flew empty because of its poor service only pilots and hostesses and steward with some few 10 to 20 passengers flew and Maharaja got riddled with chronic cancer ,what Govt did they dumped the maharaja on Indian Airlines ,took away Indian Airlines name in which MR Rajeev Gandhi worked as co pilot IN Fokker Friendship Air Craft .Now we have the Maharajah Name that is Air India and every Indian knows Maharaja is languishing in cancer.Now HERE to they didnot spared even the cancer patient.Praful patel used to tell media Indian airlines wale cam nahi kerte hai nikkam mea hai .raasta me jaker inko marketing kerna chahiya .Marketing TARGET and Achievement are given end of the year Mantri ji will check and ask SAMBHA kitna achieve in kalia nea .Hajur 90 percent and our gabber answer will be phir aur doe licence aram se de sakte hai( This company is used as barometer to issue licence) . And our poor chap vijay Malya got into trap of gabber Praful Patel and fell flat on his face . CITIZEN OF INDIA UNDERSTAND THE REALITY OF EVERY PSU COMPANY AND THEN COMMENT. ALL PSU RETIREMENT AGE IS 60 YRS IN AIR INDIA ITS 58 .AIR INDIA NO DOUBT IS A GOVT COMPANY BUT ITS A BALI KA BAKRA COMPANY MISS MANAGED TO THE HILT BECAUSE OF MINISTER INTERFERENCE AND WEAK MANAGEMENT PROMOTED BY SIFARISH .SOME DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES ARE SLEEPING AND TAKING THEIR SALARY AND SOME DEPARTMENT LIKE COMMERCIAL THE GUYS TONGUE COMES OUT END OF THE DAY AS THERE IS NO FRESH RECRUITMENT AND ALMOST ALL COMMERCIAL STAFF RETIRING AT 58 YRS .COMMERCIAL IS THE BACK BONE OF AVIATION BEING THE FRONT LINE STAFF.Hope Mr Modi chooses a strong man who knows and understands aviation well or he can simply hand it over to the TATAS they know here to hit hard and make the company run if not gallop .HAR HAR MODI GHAR GHAR MODI. more  
Yes the AIR INDIA so far has been the Govt paying back to the Govt as only Govt servants travel this. It seems there time is not precious so it is plagued by cancellations, delays, leased planes falling apart and high ticket prices. There seems to be no national pride in its operations. We need to work to turn it the most valued airline. Those plifering/ cheating and robbing the airlines must be caught and grounded. more
