Are other than Air India (Bande Bharat) flights available in present days? Only recently it was announced that all international flights will remain suspended till the 31st August, 2021, which is likely to be extended further as was done last year. Under the situation, I think getting a berth in the flight is more important than the fare for those who are compelled to travel during these days. more
I recently had to send one of my Engineers to Srinagar (J&K) and while Booking his flight I found that both Indigo & Spice Jet would while selecting the seat show 3 different colours: Violet(Premium: Rs.501 to 750); Green Booked Seats and Light Blue (Rs.150 to 250). Middle row would be shown as Non Available seats (Covid regulation) but if it is a family booking 3 persons then Centre seat would be available and those occupying center seat have to wear PP Kit. My Engineer reported that most seats were vacant so the Airlines shortcharge by armtwisting the commuters while booking itself. more
During disaster some body earn more and get the power to exploit other. No problem, the same student will not purchase any tickets during normal time. Hisab will be barabar. more
Of course like other airlines Air India has right to keep dynamic pricing as already the airline suffered huge loss due to irresponsible management, who have made blunders after blunders , moreover if you travel by Air India you will observe more and more seats are being occupied by the relatives of Air India as they are entitled free ticket, I was once travelling from Mumbai to Newwark and I observed half the flight was full of relatives of Air India and I was surprised so if this is the state of affair (Air India only carries passengers they chose to carry) God save the Airline For any large loss the burden is passed to tax payers. more
