Air pollution control

Dear sir,

Please take following measures to stop air pollution in cities.

1. Building material shops should not be allowed in residential colonies.

2. Vehicles should be allowed on roads with zero level pollution certificate only.

3. Vehicles should be fitted with converters to absorb carbon coming outside in the air.

4. Crackers should be banned during festivals.

5. Grow more and more Trees to avoid pollution in the city.

6. Clean the city using vacuum cleaners installed under big trucks for picking dust from roads and residential colonies.

7. Carbon absorbents equipment should be planted on poles adjoining roads for keeping zero level pollution.

Thanks with best regards. more

here assumption is pollution is only due to human activity , we also need to consider the possibility of other sources of pollution i.e. natural more
Some of the auto-rickshaws, plying in Ahmedabad, emit a lot of smoke, due to non-servicing of the vehicle, thus increasing the pollution in the city. Even some very old other vehicles emit a lot of smoke. Our traffic police has failed to stop plying of such vehicles and never penalized the polluting drivers. The Traffic Police must be strict in checking the vehicles and must penalize those which do not comply with pollution control norms. Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) does not pay attention to make the city green by planting trees along the roads, highways, BRTS lanes and gardens. AMC must encourage societies to plant trees all over the city by giving them subsidies or other monetary reliefs. more
