Airline loot is real and must be fixed

A 40 minute flight from Goa to kannur is costing 11,000 wherein it used to cost only 3000 earlier ! Meanwhile AC 2 tier train ticket is costing 1450, hence opted for the second option . How can the mantri say the aviation industry is booming when prices are skyrocketing & people are using alternative means of transport ? more

Why 25%, why not 10, 30 or 50%? How do you arrive at this number. Have you considered fuel cost, cost of a plane, landing charges and so many other costs including other risks? more
time and again this issue surfaces and after LC reports govt wakes up.Why do they have to wait for LC to report Dont they see media and newspapers where this is being screamed .Looks like they are all sleeping over the matter or are in collision with the airlines . more
All Airlines in the World use dynamic pricing. Just fir fun search for airline Fares say for tomo Vs 2 months from now, both domestic and International. Also Bus Fares during festive seasons . Even in the college education field it happens. If you opt for early Admission it is lower, if you are late you pay a higher fees. You all know education field is a racket these days. Just enquire about some of the schools in the Whitefield area in Bangalore. You will not believe it. Why don’t we question them? Private schools also loot parents. more
All civil aviation ministers are closing their eyes towards real life exploitation of air passengers by the so called "low-cost airlines". When they came into existence, they were really no-frills, low-cost and Air Deccan was ruling the roost. greed of Vijay Mallya to take Kingfisher international, led to takeover of Air Deccan, and the result was both the airlines doomed. Indigo has been charging fares much more than many full service carriers since long time, but no action has been taken against them. The Civil Aviation Minister should clearly lay out rule and cap the maximum fare charged by these low-cost airlines to 25% above the 1st AC train fare on the same sector at the most. more
Air travel prices are not fixed for ever. If you book s week or ten days before, you may get the air ticket from Goa to Kunnur for around Rs.5500/- But if you buy at the last moment it may cost you anything...you never know. I travelled from Delhi to Chennai several times and paid around Rs.6500 - 7000/- But once in urgency, I got the return ticket for Rs. 61000,/- So please book your air ticket as much before as possible. Cursing the system wouldn't work. Best Wishhes more
