Airlines are fleecing and delivering terrible service

Fantabulous job LC Manager on the airline passenger sentiment survey. It is being carried everywhere in media.

This survey has captured the on ground situation most effectively. Passengers are not being treated respectfully and being charged high prices and then being pushed to pay more at every opportunity. more

Yes very poor quality of service and profiteering prices more
Always find cheapest and conformable mode of travel. From Chennai to Bangalore, opt for shatabi or Volvo. Maintain peace of mind and save money. more
It is said that competition will lead to improvement in the service levels. However, India is vastly inadequately served by air. Many airports dont run too many flights in a day. The number of people who travel by air has been rising each year. So when demand outstrips supply, how do we expect service levels to improve? We would be incorrect comparing India with US or other markets which are well connected by air. Even in the US, airline service is not what it used to be. Most airlines operate like a crammed city bus. In India we need airlines to become bigger, stronger and connecting more parts of the country. Only then can we hope in improvment of service and standards. A maerick like Mallaya had a great airline. But seee what happened. Before that, we had so many airline like East West, Modiluft etc going belly-up. Maybe the resusciation of the Maharaja will start changing things in a couple of years. more
My experience with online booking a couple of days back: The fare from Chennai to bangalore showed ₹2700 for one of the flights. I went to other airlines and checked the fares. The fares were higher for the similar flight (departure time, non stop). So, I came to this first airline. Now, for the same flight, it showed ₹8000+ 😒. I left it at that that. After a few hours, I came to the same airline and now it showed ₹2700. I did the booking. Software decided, human decided or AI?? more
Not only fleecing, but the airlines are not adhering their own rules. If the flight is cancelled, they agree to refund the entire tkt cost. But Go first has not refunded my ticket cost of nearly 15k for last 8 months. Their ticketing agent Easemytrip also not responding. GOI Aviation ministry too has become silent spectator and as a retired person, where can I go to get my refund. Its ridiculous and disgraceful. Shame on such airlines. more
file a complaint on Govt. of India grievance (PM) portal and the airlines will come running to you. And ask for the refund with interest. The portal works more
