The regulators do not realise that most of us dont end up complain for small damage because of various reasons like time shortage, connection to catch, lines at baggage counter, cumbersome compensation process etc. That doesnt mean airlines are not mishandling our bags.

Why cannot a flyer insist to declare in baggage token about the confition of bag, when booked. If received in damaged condition, claim to be lodged on colkecyion from belt and before leaving the location. Airlines should address the claims there and then. more

I purchased new VIP suitcase and travelled to find it damaged. Proper care and handling of booked luggage is required. Many people do not want to book it and try to carry in the cabin. more

Yes an immediate action needs to be taken by the DGCA to enable customer make an online complaint for mishandling the luggage. more

DGCA should interfere in to this , passenger paying high amount to travel if any losses incurred they should pay immediately that passenger more
