Airport or Govt should bear testing cost at airport

And recover from user charges if they cant afford but the point is given that 1 in 5 people testing covid positive has omicron a set process must be used. Giving people options to pick between PCR and rapid test should not be done. Do both for all instead of they picking and choosing. Many rich are
Opting for PCR right now as Rapid shows more positive so they more and get PCR.

Also the poll below is valid. Do we really need flights right now? What if there was once a week flight from major destinations rather than 4 flights a day from those destinations. Just plain emergency no other travel. more

Covid tests should not be free for air travellers. If they can afford airfare and transportation, they can surely bear the cost of the tests. more
The number of mindless freebies should be reduced instead as it is not the Govt. but the tax payers who carry the burden of all such misdeeds of politicians. The Airport Authorities should negotiate better testing cost as the number of passengers is very high as is being done by railways to cover every passenger with accidental insurance @ Rs. 0.35 per ticket. Since air travellers are not a big organized vote bank, I don't think any political party will take the initiative of offering free covid test. more
Freebies r poisonous to Self, Nation asper Atalji. Must be Stopped more
why do you think passenger travelling by Air are beggers or bonafide under reservation categeory . my suggestion Govt. Should charge even from Common man if they are reluctant for Vaccination in due time. more
Mr Nair, you are making a sweeping observation that all air travelers can afford to pay high costs. Major portion of the economy passengers from overseas do not have the company sponsored luxury. more
Good guidance by you seema Sharma. Thanks for the info more
