Airtel Cheating to the customer

Today I have received a call from 011409769151 telling that they where from Airtel customer care and they providing me the free hello tunes for 3 months and so i have to press 5 for acceptance. But i rejected the offer and disconnected the call. Eventhough they called me continuously and told me to select the same for free. and While i disconnected the call they deducted Rs. 90/- from my account. I called the Airtel customer care for the same. But they were not ready to accept the cheating. Finally they refund the amount by long arguments. But my question is if any rural or senior persons getting such type of call they don’t know how to call the customer care. I think airtel making money with cheating the customer. more

AIRTEL has come down to a company of cheats. We have a family pack for self + wife. Going abroad, we activated 'INTERNATIONAL ROAMING' in May 2016. Immediately upon return due to sad premature demise of my youngest brother, I deactivated international roaming on July 13th. I was thereafter, busy far away in Jabalpur to look after property & aged mother which was hitherto my brother's domain. I was arranging payments from there while also coming to Baroda short visits. Everytime thought checking AIRTEL bill, but never got hard copy. However, last month when the bill shot-up to thousands, I checked & found being charged for foe intrernational roaming on one phone while deactivated for other. Similarly huge amount on MMS charged in the bill. High time all we take AIRTEL to the cleaners and also boycott. Besides Can somebody please advise me whom to lodge complaint with? more
You are right all credit card companies also using same strategy by charging late fee etc. If we give them written complains with copy to RBI they revers it. But unaware persons are cheated and credit card companies are making crores of Rupees this way. But till date RBI doesn't take any legal action against these companies. more
Thanks for the appreciation. Your smile is beautiful. It is a rare thing. Janardan Mali On Thu, Dec 1, 2016 at 5:48 PM, ROHIT BADHWAR wrote: > more
DEAR SHETTYJI : I DONT KNOW, WHOM TO APPROACH WHEN I AM " TAKEN FOR A RIDE, REPEATEDLY " BY THESE PRIVATE TELECOM PLAYERS...!!!... TRAI, WHO IS SUPPOSED TO PROTECT OUR INTEREST - IS A NAMESAKE REGULATORY AUTHORITY..!!.. I HAD HOPED AND WISHED THAT THE GROUND SITUATION WOULD CHANGE FOR THE BETTER WITH THE CHANGE FROM UPA 2 TO NDA. IT HAS NOT HAPPENED WHICH GOES TO SHOW THAT IT IS THE BUREAUCRATS, WHO RULE AND THE POLITICIAN JUST PLAYS ON. MR RAVI SHANKAR PRASAD IS OTHERWISE A SHARP MAN BUT, IN CASE OF TELECOM MINISTRY - HE HAS PROVED THAT HE BELONGS TO THE 19TH CENTURY. AIRTEL HAD ANNOUNCD BY GRAND ADVT. CAMPAIGN THAT THEIR 'TOWERS' WOULD REACH ANYWHERE BUT, THEY DO NOT REACH ALL THE ROOMS IN MY SMALL FLAT. REG DATA - AIRTEL WOULD NOT GIVE YOU UNLIMITED TIME FOR DATA PACKS IN SMALL VALUE ON PREPAID BASIS. THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO TAKE YOU FOR A ROYAL RIDE. I DO WISH AND HOPE THAT RELIANCE JIO GIVES THESE PEOPLE A TOTAL "RUN FOR MONEY" WITH DATA PACKS SO THAT THESE EXISTING PVT TELECOM PLAYERS ARE "RUN OUT OF BUSINESS" BY "SURGICAL STRIKE" PRICING....!!... ( After 31-03-2017 )...!!.. WE CAN ONLY HOPE.....!!!!.... more
