Airtel - customer unfriendly company
I associate with airtel grievance raised by Shri Goel. It is one of the most customer unfriendly companies.
One of the things they do is as price drops happen in broadband connection, they will continue charging you at same rate for years and years. They will not lower the prices.
Many businesses keep getting slower speeds at higher rates because no one bothers to check latest plan etc. Airtel will never let you know. Even if they upgrade your speed, they will never tell you that your plan now costs 1299 instead of 2000.
So be very alert and demand lowest price and ideally ask them for compensation for time that the plan became available and you were still charged higher. more

My experience with Airtel during the last 4-5 years has compelled me to write-off the Airtel from my list of telecom companies. Unfortunately, other telecom companies are equally bad and therefore, I feel sacrificing the mobile phones. more

I totally agree with you. I have a complaint booked which has already taken more than 7 months, but no action whatsoever is taken provided they promised to solve the same. I do not know when this will be taken seriously and problem solved. Each time complained to them, they have ready answer that the problem solved, your handset/sim has some problem, change it????? The map shows their towers work wonderfully in our area but I do not get free speaking and data transferring facility for the money I pay to them every month. I am a member of Airtel family for the past 6+ years. more
