Airtel ups their post paid

Pathetic customer service. My postpaid mobile bill jumped from ₹352 to ₹411. Changed to a new plan of ₹449 without any communication to me or my authorization..called their customer service number. The agent spoke in English which was noise to my ears. He said he would transfer me to his coordinator. That never happened. Subsequent calls, the option to speak to a representative vanished.
Tried their chat. The AI BOT could not understand my concern.
Just because their competitor is equally bad, they are customers for granted and they will accept their dictatorship.
Sorry stateof affairs. more

Calling on Airtel or for that matter any service provider, is a nightmare. All companies have introduced IVR but these are absolutely useless. The Managers should try for themselves calling on their helpline numbers and experience the nightmare and frustration. Also, they ask/insist for Aadhar details in case of issue of new SIM, which is absolutely not legal. They don't have the system to interact for such issues. more
Dear Sir/ madam Do they listen to common citizen  voter of India ? Systems are made for their own use only ? Not happy with Airtel - but TRAI too dose not bother what to say? Yours etc RG Noida  On Thursday 19 September, 2024 at 12:26:51 pm IST, Padmanabhan G wrote: more
Even with the recent price hike, the plans are much cheaper compared to other countries. more
Because of recent hike in tariff of all the three private players in our market, several lacs of subscribers have ported their phones to BSNL as per media reports. You may also try, your bill will certainly come down. more
I did get a notification from Vodafone that my earlier package was being phased out and the tariff would increase. Telecom sector is in bad shape, competition from cos with deep pockets, high government fees and penalties looming over them. Actually rates in India are some of the globally lowest. Badly trained support staff is a persistent problem, partly related to the sorry state of education in our country. Sad. more
