You are right and worth thinking also for this one time expense. But what about crores of money spend on advertising by delhi govt for personal gains of political leader and image building, all at the cost of tax payer money. On one side there are no developments for the want of money and same time huge sums are spent daily on large publicty for what? Lets raise our voices for bigegr picture of huge sums spend on advertisemets and building non essential HAJ HOUSE and likes Jai Bharat more

Each of the Lt.Governers placed by the Center in Non BJP States are actually placed to create trouble to bring down the elected Government. We saw it in Puducherry (Kiran Bedi) & in Delhi ( Najeeb Jung & now Anil Baijal). Since these people thrive on tax payers money, they should look for welfare of the tax payers but they do not do so. Today Supreme Court gave a stinging rebuke to Delhi Police that they work for politicians to implicate opposition party members and then in court they can't produce evidence and are pulled up. Also when the ruling party demits the office and the opposition comes to power, the policemen then face action and disciplinary action from their own officials. This has been the system for long. Singham are only seen on screen. more
I think pension of each and every single politician must be stopped with immediate effect. Reservation must be stopped from the country in totality with immediate effect. Politician getting perks must be published. more
Yet this decision need approval from politicians and why they will do that. They can increase their allowances any time and for this every party politician get agree without any issue or walkover. more
@Dipali. Agree but this is now in the DNA of politicians. General person or employee pay many taxes and they do Aish on our taxes money. Very rare peoples are in politics who want to take care of general people. more
