It is a fact that during Kejriwal's time, the corruption was almost NIL in Delhi. No government official had the courage to take bribe from the common man. The policemen were not taking bribe from the auto rickshaw drivers, street vendors etc. Recently, a transporter was saying that when he visited a government's office at the time of Kejriwal as CM he did not have to pay a single rupee as bribe to the government official to get the required licence. But this year, he had to pay a big amount to get the licence. What I think is that because of his inexperience, he could not go ahead with his various promises, because he was in a hurry to do things. The BJP and the congress, at that time, trapped and back-stabbed him. But, I think that, by resigning from the CM's post, he, unknowingly, made a very big mistake. By staying in the government, he and his team could have done a lot of things for the poor and common people. What a common man wants? If he goes to a government office to get a birth/income/caste certificate, he should get it without giving any bribe. If he wants to get any of his personal details changed/incorporated in the government records, it has to happen without giving any bribe. He needs job, good roads, good medical care, good drinking water, atleast 16-20 hours electricity with reasonable price, good law and order, a good house to reside etc. By staying in the government, Mr. Kejriwal could have done all these things one by one. But, I think, he was in a hurry to get these things done at one go. That was the mistake he did, unknowingly. The main problem which is being faced by the poor people are liquor consumption. As most of them are illiterate, they do not know the bad effects of liquor consumption. After a day's hard work, they go to the liquor shop and spent almost all the earning of that day for liquor. Because of this, his wife is also forced to go for work, and nobody is there to take care of the needs of their children. Liquor shops should be allowed to open only once in a week or once in a month, and nobody should be allowed to keep more than 100 ml of liquor at his home. Awareness programme on bad effects of liquor consumption should be conducted continuously. In the hospitals also, everything should be provided to the poor and common people. In future, if he becomes the CM of Delhi, he should never go to dharnas etc. He must understand that he is the ruler of the state, and he has the power to get all good things don.
