ALCOHOL SHOPS IN RES. AREA-THREAT TO WOMEN & CHILDREN SAFETY
In Janak Puri, A-1-B block DDA market, there are 2 wine shops and many buyers open the bottles right there & then, during evening hours. Just next door is a Mother Dairy booth which is frequented by women & children to buy milk & other products. Menace of alcoholics is on the increase, posing threat to safety of women/children.
Will "DELHI COMMISSION FOR.WOMEN" will do something proactively or shall wait for some crime to happen 1st ?
Question also arises - how come licenses are issued for alcohol/wine shops in Residential Colonies. Will Mr. Kejriwal & Mr. Sisodia will take some action on this city auhorities directly under their control. No excuses for an action on such wine shops in supposedly prohibited areas. more

This problem is rampant in NOIDA, Indirapuram, Vaishali, Vasundhara and Ghaziabad in general. There are often drunken brawls outside these vends. Does anybody have any suggestions as how to control this menace? more

Same problem is there in Dilshad Garden B Block market. Come evening and all cars turns into "Car-o-Bar" resulting into chaos and traffic jam. People are openly seen drinking and there are Banks (ICICI, PNB, Canara and SBI alongwith their ATMs) plus Mother dairy and three schools fall within 100 mtrs of radial distances. No police is seen to check this menace inspite of the fact that DCP office is hardly 50 mtrs from this place. Do we have any law to take care of this menace ? more

There is is no law except local peoples resistance but constant in togetherness.Media help is also helpful more

This menace is rampant in LSC H Block Vikaspuri (Laal Market) where it is not at all possible for ladies/girls to go for grocceries and other daily needs like medicines etc because "Delhi Govt" under librelisation scheme gave lic to a private shop to run a liquor shop. This shop attracts, among civilised persons, lot of hooligans and anti social elements. Inspite of many complaints to the authorities nothing ever happens. It is an irony that there are two religious places and a school within 50 mts of this liquor shop. If our 'DIFFERENT' and sincere CM Shri Kejriwal cares really for the common persons of delhi and believes that they have a right to move at local shopping complex without harrasement and leud comments of the 'Drunk' he must ACT now else the AAP too will face the same fate as the Congress Govt led by Smt Shiela Dixit .......... more
